Jud has spent two decades building the marketing, brand, and technology infrastructure behind some of wealth management's fastest-growing firms. He started Milemarker in 2021 after watching the industry struggle with the same data and connectivity problems at every scale — and deciding someone had to fix them properly.

## A career built inside the industry

From back-office analyst to co-founder, every chapter shaped the platform Milemarker is today.

1.  2007 – 2018

    Orion Advisor Services

    ### Chief Marketing Officer

    Jud joined Orion as a back-office analyst and spent roughly eleven years growing into a leadership role spanning brand, marketing, and product design. During that time he helped conceive and launch FUSE, Orion's annual developer conference and hackathon that brought integration partners together to build on the Orion platform — an early signal that the future of wealth management ran through connected systems, not siloed ones.

2.  2015

    Mineral Interactive

    ### Co-Founder

    Jud and Kim Mackrill co-founded Mineral Interactive, a financial marketing and technology firm focused on helping RIAs and wealth management firms communicate their value and build better client experiences.

3.  2018 – 2021

    Carson Group

    ### Chief Marketing Officer

    Carson Group acquired Mineral Interactive in July 2018 and named Jud CMO. During his tenure he worked alongside firm leadership as Carson grew from $4 billion to $16 billion in assets under management — a period of rapid transformation that brought Jud close to the operational and data challenges facing large advisory firms at scale.

4.  2021 – present

    Milemarker

    ### CEO & Co-Founder

    In January 2021 Jud left Carson to found Milemarker with Kyle Van Pelt. Drawing on a career spent inside the systems and marketing stacks of the industry's fastest-growing firms, he built Milemarker around a simple conviction: structured, connected data should be the foundation of every wealth management firm — not an afterthought. Today Milemarker's platform serves RIAs, broker-dealers, TAMPs and insurance firms managing more than $290 billion in assets.
