We’re excited to announce our latest release, packed with enhancements to data workflows, reliability, and user experience across Milemarker. These updates are designed to make your day-to-day work smoother, faster, and more reliable.

Highlights

Smarter Data Handling

• Fallback for malformed files – Milemarker now gracefully manages malformed or incomplete data files, so your workflows keep moving without interruption.

• More informative notifications – Issue alerts now include added context, making it easier to understand and resolve problems quickly.

• Enhanced error handling – Improvements across ETL pipelines reduce failures and simplify troubleshooting.

Salesforce & SFTP ETL Updates

• Salesforce ETL improvements – Ongoing refinements to improve stability and traceability.

• SFTP ETL refactor – Major update for robustness and maintainability:

  • Improved schema validation and error handling

  • Centralized configuration lifecycle (ETLConfig)

  • Streamlined Snowflake connectivity

  • Safer file handling and import logic

  • Automatic rejection of partial uploads

  
  

Investment Center Enhancements

• User-specific data visibility – The Investment Center now filters investment options and totals by your Milemarker User ID.

  • Impersonation support included (totals reflect the impersonated user).

  • Cache improvements prevent data cross-contamination.

  • Fallbacks in place for alternative data sources.

• Field updates – TOTAL_AMT_INVESTED has been replaced with MMIC_TOTAL_INVESTED for improved clarity and consistency.

• Missing data handling – More graceful fallback logic for incomplete investment datasets.

New ETL Processors

• BlackDiamond Vault ETL – Automatically fetches, renames, and uploads previous-day files to S3 (runs daily at 6 AM ET).

• SmartX ETL – Coordinates data extraction across accounts, enterprises, and more, with dedicated processors for each data type. Includes secure API management and S3 uploads.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed null-check issues for variant columns

• Corrected filtering by Milemarker User ID in charts

• Resolved Investment Center Allocation formatting issue with null payloads
